If you’re seeking a financial challenge but with a world-wide impact – this is it.Your ImpactPerform monthly close activities, including reviewing journal entries and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to US GAAP and company policiesManage accounting, analysis and reporting for designated areas, including leases and compensation and benefitsResearch, resolve, operationalize and document accounting transactionsPrepare periodic and ad hoc financial reporting and presentations, including conducting financial analysis and explaining trends and/or relationships on the financial statementsSupport management of global accounting close processEstablish accounting policies, practices, and procedures and monitor accounting operations to ensure complianceIdentify actionable insights and make recommendations to address issues and improve accounting processes, including optimization of the month-end closePartner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and solve problemsRepresent the accounting team on significant projects and initiatives to ensure operational accounting requirements are considered and implementedEnsure compliance with SOX 404 key controls and engage with external auditors to address audit requirementsAssist with other projects and responsibilities as requiredResponsibilities will continue to expand and transform over time as Palo Alto Networks continues to grow
