We are looking for a Sr. Electrical and Firmware Engineering Manager with a solid understanding of embedded product development to lead a team creating next generation automated medication dispensing systems.

Duties and Responsibilities== Supervise a team of Electrical and Firmware engineers == Directly contribute to development of technical solutions and products== Responsible for planning the team's technical activities, establishing expectations, recruiting new team members, developing emerging talent, and creating a well-functioning, cohesive team environment== Manage a team of Electrical and Firmware engineers to design, develop and test medical devices== Provide the strategic vision and roadmap for the electrical and firmware development and architecture and contribute to technical solutions.== Evaluate and recommend engineering tools, and department process improvement ideas.== Provide technical guidance and oversight to include concept development and peer/design review participation.== Monitor documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.== Provide budget, cost and schedule input as needed.== Identify functional needs/gaps and recommend resource assignments.== Develop and mentor direct reports with individual meetings, performance reviews, formal training, development plans and other tools to achieve development goals.== Actively manage projects on which the team works including identifying tasks, allocating work assignments and tracking status == Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization.== Deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously, balancing resources, timing, and quality of outcomes.
