Responsible for leading the implementation of business strategies and initiatives.Responsible for developing important business strategies and initiatives and helping to guide the future direction of the Surgical Structural Heart business unit.Key Responsibilities:

Play a critical role in the design and execution of the annual, global strategic planning process with close regional and functional collaboration

Develop in-depth reviews of key business trends, needs, opportunities, and recommendations, similar to management consulting engagements

Analyze various disease states to identify and recommend future growth drivers and areas for investment or product development

Identify and engage with external companies in strategic areas of interest in licensing or acquisition engagements

Develop important presentations to the broader business unit, the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, Key Opinion Leaders, and the external investor community

Work closely with the business unit General Manager, Leadership Team, and functional leaders throughout the organization

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in in a scientific, technical, quantitative or business, 10 years of related work experience required or

Master's Degree or equivalent 8 years of related work experience required and 5 years’ experience in strategy, management consulting, business development, or marketing and sales required

Additional Skills:

Ability to synthesize complex information into compelling strategic messages for all levels of the organization as well as executive management

Proven expertise in PowerPoint, Excel, market modeling, clinical literature review, strategic frameworks, and live presentations

Clinical aptitude and ability to quickly dive deep into various disease states, understand treatment pathways, identify unmet needs and opportunities

Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills

Strong understanding of complicated market dynamics with the ability to quantify market potential, and build business cases with market models and financial analyses

Strict attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work independently, and self-starter proactive mentality

Demonstrated experience working with a range of professionals to help navigate through complex situations

Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
