Senior Media Systems EngineerJob OverviewSenior Media Systems Engineer is a full-time position, providing engineering leadership, oversight and mentorship in consultation, scope of work development, project estimation, equipment specification, technical design and documentation, build, system & equipment configuration, and final documentation for projects encompassed within the Media Supply Chain.

A remote work environment is supported when applicable, with possible international travel up to 50%, based on client location and requirement.

This position is extremely dynamic, and responsibilities will vary based on client location, requirement, and expectation. Sr. Media Systems Engineer will interface with client and project team on multiple levels, ranging from initial technical requirements gathering, comprehensive system development and design, end-user training, and managing timelines and client expectations.Responsibilities
  • Exhibit dynamic knowledge of technologies utilized within the Media Supply Chain.
  • Maintain a fluent understanding of architectural, electrical, and general engineering practices.
  • Supply technical consultation services to existing and potential clients.
  • Prepare detailed estimation documentation for engineering services.
  • Manage conceptualization, design, construction, and commissioning for project(s).
  • Conduct or supervise client design reviews with project team.
  • Plan and manage system configuration, test & commission, and vendor related deployments.
  • Manage as-built and final documentation delivery to client.
Required Qualifications
  • BS Electrical Engineering degree (or equivalent work experience).
  • 10+ years of overall experience in media industry system design, build, and deployment.
  • Network, video (HD-SDI & 4K), digital audio, and control systems.
  • SMPTE 2110 standards and practices.
  • Infrastructure fiber installation.
  • A&E/MEP space planning, electrical, and HVAC practices.
  • Media cloud infrastructure and technologies
  • Strong computer skills and experience with relevant software programs.
  • Excellent collaborative skills and ability to maintain positive work relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional research and reporting skills.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Additional Qualifications
  • NMOS IS-04/05 communication protocols
  • Proficient with Microsoft Visio.
  • IPAM/DCIM database platforms.
  • Experience with NetBox (not preferred, but a plus) .
