Senior Messaging EngineerLocation: San Francisco, CA / Palo Alto, CA / Jersey City, NJ / Chicago, IL (Hybrid)Duration: 12+ months (possibility of full time or extension) Job Description:As a Cloud Engineer you will be primarily responsible for deployment of public cloud messaging services supporting the development of complex applications at scale. Help provision cloud native messaging services to use on the public cloud. The candidate will be developing infrastructure as code using scripts, templates, blueprints, workflows, CI/CD orchestration automating most tasks to aid adoption at scale all the while maintaining consistency. Proficient in architecture patterns and have experience promoting best practices with peers and architects in application teams. What You’ll Do:- Streamline Installation, administration, monitoring, and production support for multiple cloud native messaging platforms
- Develop technical and non-technical processes for streamlined migration of applications from onprem to public cloud that use messaging components
- Automate provisioning with capacity based on onprem usage
What You’ll Know:- Expertise in messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ, )
- Expertise in Terraform
- Proficiency in AWS messaging platforms like Amazon MSK, Amazon MQ, Amazon SQS etc.,
- Proficiency in one of more programming languages (Java, Python, Go, etc., )
