Responsibilities:
  • Process full-cycle US multi-state domestic payroll on a bi-weekly and semi-monthly basis for 500+ exempt/non-exempt employees.
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll related transactions are processed timely and accurately.
  • Manage the timecard submission and approval process for non-exempt employees and provide support to management regarding timecard questions or issues.
  • Prepares and audits all payroll data for periodic processing to include; new hires, salary changes, transfers, benefit deductions, and other payroll-related items received from HR.
  • Calculate and process employee FMLA payments in accordance with the company Leave Policy and federal/state regulations.
  • Reconcile and process 401k contribution changes, enrollments and remittance funding on a periodic basis.
  • Review, reconcile and process periodic employee expense reimbursement reports.
  • Initiate off-cycle payments for terminations timely by preparing and administering checks within federal/state regulatory timeframes.
  • Partner with Stock Plan Administrator to prepare and process stock exercise payroll runs. Participate in preparing payroll-related GL reports for month-end close.
  • Participate with internal/external payroll related audits and requests.
  • Assist with maintaining the Payroll inbox by answering payroll inquiries from employees, business partners, and management.
  • Provides support to Human Resources team to help resolve payroll-related matters. Perform any other relevant work or duties as requested or assigned by the US Payroll Director.

Requirements:
  • 7 - 10 years of experience with processing US Domestic multi-state payroll and timekeeping.
  • 2+ years of experience with stock exercise payroll processing.
  • 2+ years of experience with business expense reimbursements processing. • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate results under strict deadlines. • Highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or other integrated payroll systems. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with high-growth companies preferred.
  • Pass background check.
