Senior Platform Operations Analyst

Leapfrog Power, Inc. D/B/A Leap Energy seeks Senior Platform Operations Analyst in Sacramento, CA.

Responsibilities: Responsible for executing and improving upon Leap’s operations for the continued development and expansion of Leap’s presence in both existing and new marketplaces. More specific duties include: identifying opportunities and providing solutions for building and optimizing full life-cycle scalable processes to prepare the company for growth and expansion; providing business analytics services for the provision and analysis of data to support strategic development decisions and product developments; developing and executing strategies for operations, including working with organizational Development and Operations Teams in detailed business development strategies, product integrations, and introduction of services to local and global markets; gathering data and input to understand, analyze, and outline business strategies and operations to define specifications and prioritization of features for development and launch, including supporting strategies and processes required for participation in the California Independent System Operator; improving business operations and services through analysis functions to identify areas for improvement, solutions, and understanding client needs; developing actionable strategies and solutions within the organization to ensure expansion of business relationships for marketplace expansion and successes; collecting, understanding, and analyzing customer needs and current market trends to provide recommendations to ensure needs are met and successful product launches; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to our Sacramento, California Office. Salary: $132,857 - $139,500.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field (or foreign equivalent).

Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related; 2 years of experience designing and developing data analytics tools to process and analyze user data; 2 years of experience using scripting and querying tools such as Python, R or SQL, data visualization and analytical tools; 2 years of experience gathering data and input to understand, analyze, and outline business and operation strategies; and 2 years of experience developing statistical methods and data modeling.
