AECOM is seeking a Senior Power Electrical Engineer - Medium & Low Voltage Distribution to be based in Orange, CAThe responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following:Responsible for electrical engineering design workWorking with Project Engineers and Project Managers on developing workload forecasts, design schedules and budgets for electrical engineering work activitiesFunctioning as the “Engineer of Record” on projectsPerforming Power system studies (load flow, short circuit, protective coordination, arc flash analysis)Providing technical support for business development activities such as developing proposalsOne line and three-line diagramsConducting arc-flash hazard calculations to determine arc-flash boundaries and required PPEProtective relay and metering one line / three-line diagramsPanel LayoutsEquipment layouts and sectional viewsConnection DiagramsBill of MaterialsDetermine ampacity and develop Feeder and Cable SchedulesDeveloping construction and equipment specificationsSupporting projects during construction, start-up, and commissioningGrounding layoutsReviewing engineering work performed by peersAttending client meetingsClient and site field visits
