Title: Sr. Power Electronics Engineer Location: Campbell, CA (Onsite only) Duration: Permanent POSITION SUMMARY: Our client is looking to add a creative senior power engineer to work within a team developing medical devices and commercial power devices. This engineer will work closely with mechanical, software, and other cross functional engineers and contribute towards the design of new devices. This is a hands-on position. Demonstrated project leadership skills are required. This position requires able to see their projects through from concept design to delivery and support of hardware. In addition, this person should show skills at teaching skills to others. This role will involve both design of new products and sustaining engineering on existing products. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of industry experience
  • Deep understanding of power electronics
    • Demonstrated experience with developing power electronics in a production environment
    • Deep knowledge of power topologies and control theory
    • Experience in sensors and data capture
    • Experience with magnetic device design
  • Great communication skills
EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with Altium schematic and PCB design
  • Experience with Matlab
  • Experience with Ansys
  • Mechanical design skills
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • MSEE or PhD preferred
