Job Details

Responsibilities:
  • Lead design teams in production of client deliverables
  • Supervise a team of staff engineers and technicians under the direction of a project manager
  • Work assignments include: geometric design of highways, roadways, truck facilities, and site development
  • Utility design and coordination, drainage design, and grading design
  • Projects may include traffic engineering, pavement delineation, signing, and traffic handling
  • Prepare technical reports and specifications
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering and a P.E. License (CA)
  • 6+ years of experience with transportation design, site development experience is a plus
  • Proficient using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microstation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of state highway design standards
