Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join one of Orange County’s most prestigious hospitals. This is a contract, onsite role located in Newport Beach, CA. The Sr. Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning and execution of programs and projects as assigned by department leader.

• The Sr. Project Manager will oversee the most complex programs and projects, which will likely involve a diverse set of components, including healthcare processes and technology, business processes and technology, and construction.
• The successful Sr. Project Manager must be proficient in managing the complexities associated with large, enterprise-wide strategic initiatives, and must be able to communicate effectively with executive-level staff.
• The individual in this position coordinates, facilitates, and monitors project milestones and budgets for assigned projects, and coordinates and leads cross-functional teams to deliver the projects.

• 7-10+ years of total experience5+ years of project management experience
• Experience with all phases of project management with demonstrated success across a variety of project types
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Consulting experience
• Experience managing healthcare-related projects and familiarity with healthcare provider industry
• Performance improvement experience (in support of anticipated Cost Excellence projects) EPIC IT
• Only Two years of supervisory/managerial experience. including within healthcare organizations.
