Senior Project Manager-HW Engineering

As the Hardware Engineering Project Manager, you are responsible for hardware and firmware project planning, resource allocation, progress measurement, reporting, and escalation. This is a highly visible role reporting to the VP of Hardware Engineering. Candidates should be highly motivated, communicative and driven to achieve the organization’s goals.

• Responsible for day-to-day coordination of multiple concurrent projects to achieve successful completion of project objectives.
• Work with teams to agree on and lock down product requirements up front; document and communicate requirements to business and cross functional teams
• Create project plans covering integrated schedule with interdependencies, resources, risks, quality and commercialization
• Monitor program metrics, report project status, and provide measured escalation

• 7+ years of experience in tactical project management of highly technical initiatives,
• Experience with managing large-scale integrated software and hardware technical projects
• Fully competent in a variety of core project management and communication processes and tools (methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project life-cycle from business plan to market release)
• Technology background that enables you to understand the complexities of an IoT solution
• Strong problem-solving skills (able to identify obstacles to forward progress and navigate around them)
• Able to indirectly manage teams across multiple functions
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to communicate over multiple sites, teams, and executive levels
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Computer Science, or strong technical background
