Job description:
Seeking a seasoned project manager with 7+ years of solid project management experience.
Augment client's PMO team in IT project manager capacity.
Few projects include infrastructure, several security initiatives, cloud migration, financial information system, web applications among others.
The ideal candidate must have demonstrable project delivery skills
Able to drive project from initiation to closure with smooth handoff to operations teams
Organize project work into Phases, Work streams
Track and report status on entire project, individual phases, individual work streams, milestones, resource utilization, project finances (incl. burn-down)
Comfortable with presenting to executives, sponsors, business leadership team
Proficient in waterfall & Agile methodologies
Maintain all project artefacts
Crete project dashboards
End to end effective meeting facilitation.
Establish project governance
Key success factors in a candidate
Proactive; 'can do' problem solving attitude; effective navigating ability in ambiguity
Ability to understand organization dynamics
Audience-specific communication/artefacts
Establish clear roles, responsibilities, ownership

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
7+ years IT project management experience
Tool proficiency (Required): Microsoft Project
Certification: PMP (Strongly Preferred will consider demonstrated experience in lieu of certification for the right candidate)
