Woven Planet is developing automated driving technology using a data-driven approach. We're building products at autonomy levels 2-4 to drive both near- and long-term improvements to mobility for all. About the job

Build Infrastructure's charter is to empower and assist Woven Planet internal and external developers in producing high-quality code, rapid iterations, and effective deployments to vehicles and simulations. To accomplish this, Build Infrastructure provides CI pipelines, build workers, developer tools and services to measure and improve different aspects of developer productivity.

We also coordinate with the rest of the org to spearhead large-scale developer workflow improvements. We work closely with runtime, platform, simulation, and autonomy teams to achieve these goals, so if you're looking for a broad array of ways to make a huge impact to accelerate development of self-driving vehicles, Build Infrastructure is a great place to contribute!

Responsibilities:
    • Identify and lead internal and cross-team projects end-to-end with a keen eye for simplicity, reliability, and low-friction developer experience.
    • Improve the functionality, performance, and reliability of core Build Infrastructure services including CI queues, artifact store, remote cache, and build analytics.
    • Feature and app development to streamline developer workflows, cloud workstations, CI queues, and backend services.
    • Educate developers and evangelize best practices during development, deployment, and testing.
Experience:
    • 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
    • Experience with build systems (e.g. Bazel, Gradle).
    • Strong knowledge of Software Engineering and Computer Science fundamentals.
    • Experience working with public cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure)
    • Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems, package managers and containerization.
    • Experience working with at least one of Python, Go, Java or JS.
    • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse range of talented engineers.
Your base salary is one part of your total compensation. At Woven Planet, we offer a base salary, a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. The California pay scale for this full time position is $140,000- $230,000. The total compensation offered to an employee will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and level.
