Senior Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join a Los Angeles based iGaming company with a patented software and technology platform which enables the reveal of real money wagers on live horse races in conjunction with casino-style games. This is a direct hire, onsite role in in Los Angeles, CA. The Senior Solution Architect provides both leadership and subject matter expertise to the engineering team and management who are building B2B requirements and solutions. The architect leads in the architecture, design, evaluation, and prototyping of components, providing proactive guidance, and mentoring to technical teams. The architect also supports establishing engineering standards and the creation and capturing of implementation patterns across the enterprise.

• Work collaboratively with the CTO, CIO and SVP of Engineering on architecture objectives for the Engineering team
• Evaluate solution prototypes to demonstrate suitability and interoperability of chosen components, and to establish patterns for adoption by development team members
• Capture implementation patterns into development standards and architecture best practices, insuring high-quality documentation

• 7+ years progressive IT and Business-facing experience showing job stability
• Proven, recent, experience (5+ years) in application design and engineering on Agile teams
• Should have exposure to open-source technologies and some of the following:
• Golang or Ruby on Rails exp
• JavaScript/TypeScript
• AWS tools and technologies (SQS/SNS, DynamoDB, Lambdas, ECS, ECR, S3, etc.)
• Cloud-based large-scale system (SaaS/PaaS)
