JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: Senior Tableau BI EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration: 12 Months of contract with possibilities for extension Responsibilities:• Design, develop and support Tableau dashboards with complex visualizations• Experience working with Tableau support to address visualization design limitations• Create/Manage Sites, Folders, Sub-folders, Groups, Workbooks and Projects, Database Views, Data Sources, and Data Connections• Collect and monitor the metrics necessary to quantify Tableau server performance and forecast future capacity needs• Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams to discovery and leverage data being introduced into the environment• Troubleshoot data, analyses, and SQL code. Research root causes, propose solutions, and take ownership in next steps for their resolutions.• Create and maintain report specifications and process documentations as part of the required data deliverables.• Writes queries to pull/summarize/analyze data from various data sets and platforms• Write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code with minimal defects, and automate manual processes where possible• Serve as liaison with business and technical teams to achieve project objectives, delivering cross functional reporting solutions.• Ability to multitask and prioritize an evolving workload in a fast-paced environment.
