Senior Tax Accountant

Oversee and perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks. Utilize QuickBooks for various financial operations. Handle inquiries related to tax, payroll, and sales for small businesses. Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. Maintain and update customer credit records regularly. Show initiative in anticipating and resolving potential problems. Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills in handling customer accounts. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively and independently. Implement month-end close procedures for customer accounts.Requirements Must hold a relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Proven experience as a Tax Accountant, Tax Analyst, or Tax Preparer Experience with Month End Close process is required Strong bookkeeping skills are necessary Must have knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns Excellent analytical and time management skills Strong numeracy and mathematical abilities Proficiency in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases Keen attention to detail is essential Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plusRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
