Managing tax accounting for various funds (hedge funds, private equity, real estate, SPVs).

Preparation and review of tax work papers and returns.

Calculation of estimated taxes and management of investor tax documents.

Collaboration with external firms on tax, accounting, and legal matters.

Addressing investor tax inquiries with well-researched solutions.

Coordinating with various departments and external auditors for financial statements.

Requirements

3-4+ years of experience in public accounting, specializing in Flow-Through Taxation.

Expertise in partnership agreements for hedge and private equity funds.

Proficiency in hedge fund tax matters, including Schedule M-1 computation.

Familiarity with tax issues associated with private equity funds, including capital account allocations.

Knowledgeable in real estate fund tax matters, with a focus on REIT qualification.

Ability to identify international tax implications and considerations for tax-exempt organizations.

Experience in preparing and reviewing tax work papers and returns.

Skilled in managing tax return preparation for multiple firms.

Strong grasp of complex tax and accounting regulations.

Candidates with a strong GPA and CPA qualification will receive preferential consideration.
