We are currently seeking a Senior Test & Validation Engineer in our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. This position requires an experienced professional with a track record of excellence in the field of systems engineering and software quality. The candidate will be an accomplished leader with a strong organizational capability and ability to command respect from the talented teams he or she will help lead and coordinate. The Role
  • Identify, document and manage test & validation requirements from unit to software-in-loop testing for in-house/supplier ECUs
  • Drive decisions on test strategies with collaboration between quality assurance, validation and development teams
  • Create & amend manual/automated test cases to perform OTA validation across ECUs
  • Own and manage the SW/HW Part Number changes, version history to support OTA build and release engineering
  • Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as System, Hardware and Safety
  • Coordinate and communicate the rollout of new processes, quality metrics and tools with all impacted teams
The Qualifications
  • A minimum of 7-10 years with hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases supporting validation of large-scale programs & products.
  • Strong background and experience in Test & Validation in large systems development programs
  • A proven track record of driving organizational change
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology as well as waterfall methodology
  • Experience with software development best practices
  • BS minimum in an engineering discipline (computer science, electrical engineering or similar)
