Senior UI Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a focus on front-end technologies to help build our online platform.

• Develop and design the application experiences, ensuring pages are programmed responsively, error-free, cross-browser/cross-device compatible, highly scalable, and optimized for performance.
• Follow standards for the development of tools and experiences, with a focus on performance, scalability, and reusability.
• Stay current with the newest online technologies. Perform quality assurance on all new code from inception through integration, staging, and production environments.
• Collaborate effectively with team members as well as UX, QE, and release engineering team.
• Rapidly execute solutions when problems or challenges have been identified.
• Consistently demonstrate ownership and on time delivery.
• Consistently demonstrate regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Act as a mentor for junior engineers.
• Design and develop medium sized applications with little direction.

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field)
• Years of Relevant Work Experience: 5 plus years

• 5+ years of professional experience as a front end, UI, web developer with the ability to demonstrate previous work experience.
• Experience in one of the frameworks like vuejs / Reactjs/angular/backbone
• Extensive use and understanding of front-end/back-end technologies.
• Experience in developing front end applications using markup, layout (HTML5, CSS3) and JavaScript.
• Understanding and hand-on experience in front-end Unit testing
• Understanding in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in developing cloud native microservices and API usage.
• Experience with cloud computing on at-least one of major providers (Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure).
• Good understanding of web performance and optimization.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with jQuery and other JavaScript libraries.
• Experience in working with and incorporating CSS frameworks (Foundation, Bootstrap).
• At least 1 year of experience with CSS pre-processing and optimization.
• A demonstrable understanding of MVC and MVVM patterns.
• Experience with a Version Control system (Git, Subversion).
• Experience with cross-browser design and functional constraints.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
• This is an engineering position, we believe in "always production-ready” code.
• This job requires 80% coding or coding-related tasks every day.
