Together, we’ll continue to transform our industry.  Job Summary:Reporting to the Division President, this Senior Vice President leads the overall operation of several hundred foodservice accounts across Northern California. You will lead, manage, and inspire a team of senior leaders and set the standard for providing excellent customer service, operational excellence, and inspired, ground-breaking innovation solutions that meet our clients’ requirements. You'll partner closely with your peers to deliver on the Canteen mission, support key business metrics, and sustain and grow our business. This is a dynamic and continuously developing environment. Key Responsibilities:

Leads a diverse team of district managers and/or regional directors and their teams to provide top-notch products and services to our clients

Develop an atmosphere of safety, customer-centric, innovation, curiosity, and pro-activeness

Lead the organization through large-scale change

Drive self and team towards building strong relationships with clients at all levels and achievement of key performance indicators

Serve on the Pacific Division leadership team, influencing and leading division-wide operations, and regularly communicating with peers to share standard processes, mitigate risks, champion diversity, and build community

Own key regional decisions with team input, weighing risks and rewards along with short- and long-term implications

Model communication that is strategic, thoughtful, and persuasive

Set the tone for outstanding culture and regularly meet with extended team to guarantee full transparency, education, safety, accountability, and alignment

Serve as representative/brand ambassador of the Canteen team to most senior clients in the region, and act as customer concern point of contact

Partner with sales and retention teams to drive strategy for growth, structure deals, present new business, build relationships with prospective clients, and work out key contract terms

Collaborate with key partners on regional and/or nationwide initiatives

Ensure compliance with all safety, QA, company policy, and other program requirements

Champion development within the region; conduct performance evaluations and succession planning; maintain a full understanding of all roles within operation

Own regional financial results/P&L, and work with leadership team to ensure accuracy for reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes

Ensure consistent and fair administration of all policies and procedures

Recognize and anticipate marketplace trends; participate in deliberate planning meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or a related field, and/or 12 years progressive experience in multi-unit foodservice or other food services, hospitality management, culinary product development, and/or warehouse operations management

Strong background in senior leadership roles with experience in contract and budget management, P&L management, customer service, people development, mediations, culinary, innovation, etc

Exceptional leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills

Strong history of meeting and exceeding sales and profit objectives

Has contributed to the significant growth and success of an organization

A proven track record of growing a business and leading large cross-functional teams

Excellent business and financial savvy

Ability to think quickly, analytically, strategically, and accurately

Expert client relationship management, influencing, listening, and communications (written and verbal) skills

Inclusion mentality, proactive, positive, professional, flexible, and resilient

Consistent theme of driving associate and customer satisfaction

Proven success in developing and implementing new business models

Confirmed ability to work effectively in an unstructured, fast-paced and PL driven environment

Extensive travel required within the Bay Area
