Comprehensive media knowledge, thought-leadership, and strategic marketing expertise will be essential to the continuous advancement of our clients' business.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in client-facing settings, will be an adaptive and collaborative leader, and will have had previous experience leading accounts that focus on a variety of media types including: local and national, programmatic, search, social.

Responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategy to define the future direction of Client business

Actively listen to Clients and continually identify opportunities to lead thinking

Team leader for Client interaction fostering positive relationships

Identifies key target insights based on Client brief necessary for formulating communication strategy

Evaluates composition of a wide range of media vehicles to determine which would most effectively reach the target audience

Effectively communicates and solicits agreement of best opportunities for Client

Ensure the quality of work for all Client deliverables

Serves as key resource for local markets in defining media strategy and media plans

Supervising, training, and developing staff (managing workload, delegating, and managing projects and resources, performance management)

Develop process improvements and best practices to ensure consistency, flexibility, and efficiency resulting in solutions that meet or exceed Client expectations

Serves as leadership and content development coordinator for all Client presentations

Ability to cross sell interagency products and services

Collaborate with business intelligence/analytics, data and investment teams to identify consumer learning needs and drive consumer insight generation, analysis/interpretation

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in advertising, marketing, business, psychology, or similar preferred

12+ years of experience including extensive client and team management experience

Compelling communicator with strong executive presence

Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment (has a POV)

Recognized for forging strong relationships

With clients: trusted advisor and confidant

With internal & IAT teams: works well with peers in a strong leadership team and empowers direct reports through their leadership

Has strong media background to be able to speak to changing dynamics in the landscape - experience can come from either planning or investment, but ideally has more recent strategic experience

Experience in providing a vision and driving for continued improvement in work (testing & learning vs. tied to tried & true)

Ideally has had exposure to data-driven targeting strategy

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
