Responsibilities

As SharePoint developer, you will create customized SharePoint solutions (cloud and on-prem) for internal and external projects, who will be responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications, building scalable web applications, writing, modifying and debugging code (specific to SharePoint), and training internal/external resources. Extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software is required as well as and the ability to solve complex software issues in order to create clean, scalable SharePoint websites that meet all company design and functional requirements. Proficiency with front-end programming languages is preferred.

• Meet with the design team to review website and application requirements • Manage build schedule, set tasks and development goals • Set security protocols and access privileges (RBAC) • Configure SharePoint sites to specified requirements and standards • Design, code and implement scalable applications • High-level coding skills • Extend SharePoint functionality with forms, web parts, and application technologies • Test and debug code • Review website interface, software stability and help ensure ADA compliance • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues • Maintain and update SharePoint applications • Provide internal and external system training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience • Knowledge/experience using any of the following: SQL, C#, ASP.NET, .NET Frameworks, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, JSON and Web Services • Experience developing solutions using MS PowerApps and SharePoint integration • Ability to support/manage project activities (Agile experience preferred) • Experience providing direction to individuals and supervising the work of others within a solutions development environment • Experience with or knowledge of information security planning, operations, best practices, or products-protection of information or information systems from access or alteration by unauthorized sources

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills as well as knowledge of data processing systems, concepts and methodologies • Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technologies • Ability to create and maintain highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary or private information

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $95,000-$115,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
