Description We are in search of a Social Media Specialist to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This role involves creating, managing, and executing social media content strategies for our clients. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing individualized social media campaigns, managing social media channels on a day-to-day basis, and tracking key performance indicators to ensure campaigns are tracking appropriately. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Development and execution of social media content strategy across various platforms. Conceptualizing innovative social content ideas, activations, and events that cater to a global audience. Designing and executing social media editorial content calendars. Monitoring and managing social media channels daily on behalf of clients. Identifying and addressing important mentions across social media platforms in real-time. Discovering trending topics, community needs and interests of clients’ audience to inform social strategy. Generating insight into community performance and providing recommendations for improvement. Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that campaigns and posts are tracking appropriately. Developing social media reports by analyzing key metrics and themes while aggregating data into actionable insights to inform marketing. Collaborating with Paid Social Media team to develop and coordinate paid social media campaigns. Requirements Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva tools Demonstrable experience with Editorial Content Knowledge of Facebook Insights for social media analytics Familiarity with Google+ platform Proven ability to create engaging Advertisements Strong understanding of Analytics for evaluating social media performance Comprehension of Best Practices in social media management Experience in Blogging to enhance brand awareness Proven track record in increasing Brand Awareness Ability to work independently and in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
