DescriptionFamily Caregiver Support Program:Under general supervision of the Supervisor, Clinical, this position supports the functions of the clinical social work staff, by being the primary screener on all inquiries, completing client registrations, assisting with outreach activities, and supporting the management or classes and community events. The position also coordinates community outreach, educating other professionals and the community at large as to the service offered by the grant programs.This is a grant funded position.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable. Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or a related field from an accredited university.

Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.

1 year of Hospital or institutional social services experience, in a paid or supervised internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

Some community based fieldwork experience providing assessments and interventions.

Social service case management experience working with families and older adults who are coping with adult onset cognitive impairments.
