Job Title: Software Architect

Job Location: Bay Area, CA (Hybrid)

Required Level of Experience: 12+ Years

Tax Term: W2

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or applications.
  • Use tools and methodologies to create representations for functions and user interface of desired product.
  • Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility.
  • Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards.
  • Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team.
  • Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design.
  • Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
  • Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.

Required Skills:
  • Must have built automated mission and needs to support mission critical large scale infrastructure systems or services.
  • Must be expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Analytics (installing, configuring, monitoring, deploying and troubleshooting Adobe Experience Manager v6.4 and higher).
  • Should have good knowledge in AEM building blocks, CRX repository, Java Content repository (JCR), sling framework and OSGi framework.
  • Should be Proficient at Linux system administration, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Have hands on experience on web servers and load balancers such as Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, HAProxy and Git.
  • Experienced in building systems such as Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana and CI/CD tools.
  • Must have knowledge in cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure etc.
  • Experience in programming languages: Python, Go, etc.
  • Must be Knowledgeable on infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Chef, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
  • Should Understand Systems/App security and encryption.
  • Good to have expertise in debugging and problem-solving skills are a must.
  • Should have excellent verbal and written communications skills.
