Volt is immediately hiring for a Instrument Control Software DeveloperThe built-in smart software features in a distributed system have improved the customers' workflow simplicity, stability, and efficiency. You will be part of our software engineering team for our innovative features and the next generation of products.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is a self-starter, innovative, and passionate about delivering world-class instrument software, and likes to work in a fast-paced environment. As the successful candidate for this software development engineering position, you will join an exciting team, working on built-in intelligence for instrument control.Job Responsibilities:The responsibilities of this position include:
  • Designing, developing, documenting and testing instrument control software.
  • Work as part of a Scrum team - can work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Translation of market requirements into a software architecture and module designs.
  • Incorporate leading edge User interface technologies into our software products.
  • Bachelors or Master Degree in Computer, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or relevant field.
  • At least 5 years experience in designing and developing applications using Microsoft Technologies and .NET Framework
  • Excellent technical communication skills
  • Experience with Object-Oriented Design, MVVM Design patterns
  • Experience with Multi-thread programming.
  • Experience with instrumentation control is highly desirable
  • Experience with WPF GUI development is a plus
  • Experience with microservice with REST API is a plus
  • Experience with Web Application is a plus
  • Experience in Agile Software Development Practices is a plus
