Python and/or JavaScript Software Engineers for multiple openings from junior to senior and/or expert levels. Interviews are being scheduled immediately for this direct hire opportunity based out of Irvine, California. Our direct client is a leader in innovation, manufacturing, and operations within the

space and satellite industry pioneering the delivery of responsive space solutions! Required Qualifications:

  • Junior/Mid/Senior talent with s high competency in Python and/or JavaScript and any SQL (using MongoDB).
  • Software development experience back-end and front-end + database administration but back-end heavy.
  • Senior/Expert level talent will need experience with big-data design and system-level architecture with the ability to mentor others on the team.

  • B.S. in computer science or equivalent field.
  • A highly motivated self-starter is able to perform duties autonomously without supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop the ground software framework for our client’s next generation of space vehicles.
  • Core focus: Develop back-end data processing applications (Python) and web servers (NodeJS) and the design of interfaces and data flow between ground segment applications.
  • Participate in software requirements generation, design, implementation, and testing discussions.

Desired Skills (Optional):
  • Exposure to React is highly desirable.

Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, NJ, NY, WA: $110,000 to $190,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
