Software Engineer, Engineering Experience (API)

If you aren't sure if you qualify, please err on the side of applying.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or higher or combination of relevant education, experience, and training in Computer Science or a related field.Minimum 3 years of related experience in software development, or an equivalent combination of education/experienceExperience in building production-grade, cloud-native software with hands on experience in cloud automationExperience or interest in building scalable APIs to be used across the NBCU software ecosystem.Well-versed in developing and consuming web services (REST) with an understanding of HTTPExperience in serverless and event-driven architecture and building REST web services, with additional knowledge of OAUTH, SSO, Swagger/OpenAPI, mock endpoints, and global availability helpfulFoundation and understanding of API Governance, best practices, consistency, and discoverabilityAbility to integrate into internal development portalsDesire to lean in on a philosophy of security, resiliency, and privacy by design.Experience with modern build strategies, continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests required. Continuous delivery experience preferred.The ability to jump into a project and contribute immediately to both architecture and implementationStrive for excellence
