Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Software Engineer II in Richmond, CA to develop backend services for core products to meet next generation financial technology client needs. Work with Production Owners to understand and clarify system requirements and to propose changes. Interact with engineering groups to assist in the design changes to equipment and software. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products used in the backend including but not limited to micro services. Provide web technology functionality for innovation. Participate in software design meetings and analyze user needs to determine technical requirements. Write code, complete programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications using current programming languages and technologies. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Perform software development using Java design patterns and integration patterns. Participate in end-to-end systems development life cycles. Utilize sequence diagrams and class models. Utilize technologies including HTML, HTML5, AJAX and CSS3 for client-side UI and extensions. Use server-side technologies including JSP, Servlets, Micro Services and Groovy. Work with tools including Java and J2EE technologies, Spring, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST API, SOAP Web services, JSON parsing, and JAXB.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in a relevant field in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: participating in end-to-end systems development life cycles; utilizing sequence diagrams and class models; working with software design patterns and integration patterns; utilizing REST APIs, SOAP Web services and integrating open source frameworks and technologies; working with Relational databases including Oracle and SQL Server; working with CICD principles and client-side technologies including HTML, HTML5, AJAX and CSS3 for client side UI and extensions; utilizing server-side technologies including JSP, Servlets, and Groovy; working with tools including Java and J2EE technologies, Spring, Spring Integration, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSON parsing, and JAXB; implementing application security, threats, and best practices; and working in a distributed agile team structure.
