Title: Software Engineer IIDuration: 02/28/2023 - 08/27/2024Location: Mountain View, CA 94043Duties:Designs and develops software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process.2+ years of experience building mobile applications- 2+ years experience with Kotlin- Strong experience with Android SDK- Familiarity with jetpack components- Able to develop Android UI using newer patterns e.g. relative layout- Familiarity with Firebase Crashlytics, ability to debug and fix crashes in Android apps- Experience with web services (consuming and/or creating) with REST/GraphQL- Experience with mobile build and deploy tools like Gradle- Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)- Experience developing and maintaining consumer facing mobile applications- Ability to mock out server side dependencies to move fast. Knowledge of server side development processes, tools, and technology is a huge plus- Deep customer empathy and ability to quickly translate insights into mockups, wireframes, and working proof-of-concept code- Expertise in quickly translating design (Zeplin/Illustrator) into working code- Strong bias to action - bring ideas to life quickly through prototyping, experimentation and a can-do attitude.
