We believe in providing staffing solutions to address the current talent gap - Right Talent - Right Time - Right Place - Right Price and acting as a Career Coach to our consultants.Hybrid - work onsite Tuesday & Thursday.open to candidates local to position.Job Details:Job Title: Software Engineer - II / Git Software EngineerLocation : San Jose,CADuration : Long Term Contract (Possibility of Extension and Possibility of Getting Hired as Permanent)Job Summary1.Build and maintain Git repositories for Intel, This includes all scripts and code to implement any of the asks in this SOW.2. Implement and maintain smoke tests for each of the repositories.3. Work with the engineers to determine which tests should be used for Smoke tests and regressions.4. Implement and maintain Regression tests for each of the repositories.5. Implement full and partial regressions. (full to be run on weekends).6. Implement and maintain pull requests for each of the repositories7. Ensure regressions run on a defined schedule, to ensure checkins do not backslide the system8. Make suggestions on how to improve the GIT repositories and get approval to implement.9. Ensure that code reviews are done and code is approved by a second engineer before it gets checked in.10. Ensure that each check in can be reverted cleanly if it breaks the repository (regression fails if it was checked in.11. Tag all commits that require it,12. Ensure that Submodules are not reverted to previous versions if not intended.13. Continue to improve the tests and system.
