Software Engineer III

Location: Mountain View, CA Description: Position: Software Engineer III

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
• 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, and/or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
• Overall domain: Full stack Java development
• Frontend: FE/UX development experience (required). Familiarity with Java Swing and OpenGL (nice to have)
• Backend: Java. Will use Google's internal backend frameworks, having worked with Google's Apps Framework is a plus
• Database: Basic SQL knowledge, having worked with Google's Spanner Database is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain thoughts and ideas with stakeholders and keep them informed
