Position SummaryWhat you'll doWe are seeking a mobile developer to join our Walmart financial services team as a Software Engineer III. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the financial services features in the Walmart mobile app. As a member of our agile development team, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and drive business results. Develop features with the highest level of quality by thinking of all the ways that the feature can be broken, with resiliency plans and fail-safe mechanisms in place

Demonstrate a strong understanding of the iOS framework or Android and respective component lifecycles

Have an extensive knowledge of Swift or Kotlin.

Have the ability to build products with a focus on Unit-testing code for robustness, including edge cases and usability testing.

Have the capability of building user interfaces programmatically

Have a wide-experience working in multi plugin environment projects

Have an expert-level knowledge of git and CI/CD systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins

Gained an experience in good app architecture using design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean

Possess an extensive understanding of iOS or Android framework components and their respective lifecycles combined with a solid knowledge of multithreading, protocols, structures, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning

Can build reusable iOS or Android components, orchestrate user-interactions integrating with backend services via REST and GraphQL APIs

Experience in working closely with product, design, and UX teams to create amazing and intuitive experiences that make it effortless to connect different apps together

What you'll bring:

At least 4 yrs of experience in iOS or Android development

Extensive understanding of the iOS or Android framework components and their respective lifecycles combined with a solid knowledge of multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning

Build reusable iOS or Android components, orchestrate user-interactions integrating with backend services via REST and GraphQL APIs

Experience with software maintenance tools and techniques, application monitoring tools and techniques, debugging tools, mock screen, pseudo codes, reverse Engineering, traceability matrix, system performance, security, integration, data migration and accessibility, design Methodologies, and telemetry

Wide experience working in multi-module environment projects.

Shipped one or more iOS or Android applications which are still available in the App Store.

Extensive knowledge of git and continuous integration

Experience in good app architecture using design patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or Clean

Experience in working for large corporations

Experience in working for retail Industry
