Software Engineer (.NET C#)

We are hiring "Software Engineer" for one of our clients. Job Title: Software Engineer Location: Simi Valley, CA Duration: Long Term Contract Job Description: We need a software engineer who can work on-site in Simi Valley, Ca to support our Windows Desktop application. The application is known as ADIVS (Air Defense Interoperability Validation System) and is used to test data link capabilities (Link 16, DIS, etc) of systems prior to them being fielded as well as during live exercises. The program includes a suite of tools including a map feature, data reduction, and link protocol interfaces. The position will require programming, technical documentation, agile development, code reviews and on-site support. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent). Competent in C# and C development. At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer. Ability to work well and cooperate successfully in a team. Must be able to work on-site in Simi Valley, Ca. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: WPF/XAML experience. Data link protocol knowledge (Link-16/DIS). Graphics experience (DirectX, etc). Experience with JIRA, Jenkins, Git, Subversion and TortoiseSVN/Git. Strong written and verbal communications skills. Ability to be detailed-oriented and to prioritize work and meet quick turnaround deadlines. Familiar with Agile development.
