Software Test Engineer (Core Services) - Remote

An entertainment company in California is currently seeking a new Software Test Engineer for a promising Remote opportunity with their growing staff. In this role, the Software Test Engineer (Core Services) will be responsible for designing the company's testing infrastructure and writing code to examine and validate large-scale software development and deployments.

• Work in an Agile Software Delivery methodology highly focused on developing automated tests within an iteration.
• Work with the Project team to drive Test Driven Development where modules that are being worked on are tested right away for immediate feedback
• Provide a risk assessment on the defects identified and set the correct priority and severity.
• Develop and execute perform Performance Tests
• Handle test automation and adhering to STE Test Automation Standards
• Perform other duties, as needed

• 5+ years of experience in a Functional Testing role
• 3+ years of Test Engineering experience within an Agile environment
• Solid working experience on developing Test automation scripts specifically object- oriented frameworks (TestNG, Java, API Systems, Spring)
• Front-end testing experience (web, mobile, OTT)
• Experience working with native AWS
• Video Content Delivery Experience
• Performance testing experience using commercial or open-source tools (jMeter, Curl, WebPageTest or other commercial perf testing tool)
• Significant working testing experience supporting an application written on the following languages: Node; GoLang; and JavaScript
• 3+ years of testing experience in an Agile Software Development methodology.
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

• Exposure to Agile Management tools, such as Jira
