Software Test Engineer (STE) / Remote

Job Description I am working an AWESOME STE role with a very well known and respected company in the entertainment industry. Providing thousands of movies and TV shows to over 52 million active monthly users, they are dedicated to providing the best entertainment possible. This role is 100% remote and will stay that way indefinitely. This pioneering organization is looking for someone to join their back-end services and STE team with a strong passion for Java automation. The ideal candidate will be well versed in Java and Java related frameworks, TestNG, Jmeter, Rest/Rest Assured, and CI/CD. • Must haves:

• 5+ years experience of leading engineers working with on-site and offshore teams
• Mentoring of team members on the following competencies:

• 5+ years of solid working experience on developing Test automation scripts specifically object-oriented frameworks (TestNG, Java)
• 3+ years of experience in creating and executing tests using robust api testing frameworks (RestAssured)
• 5+ years of performance testing experience supporting high-scale back-end systems
• Good working knowledge on NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, etc)
• 3+ years of experience leading projects with minimal supervision.
• Functional Testing on Native Apps, OTT (Over-the-top), web platforms, a BIG plus.
• 2+ years of testing experience in an Agile Software Development methodology.
• Exposure to Agile Management tools such as Jira, a plus.
• Experience with Test Management tools such as TestRail, a must.
