Job Title: Solution Architect/Senior Principal Engineer

Job Type: Fulltime - Direct hire

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a technical leader who owns and drives technical projects and provides leadership for groups of engineers (on-shore and off-shore) in an innovative, productive and collaborative Agile environment. This role is responsible for the overall execution, and success of complex technical projects in key management – a growth area in our competitive Portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Manage complex technical projects and teams in the areas of Enterprise Security Key Manager, Cloud-based Key Management, System Monitoring, etc.
Contribute to a great work environment by providing exemplary leadership and by mentoring our software developers, and emerging leaders
Lead and/or manage several scrum teams, including developers and testers
Collaborate with Product Management and development team in defining the product vision and roadmap and ensuring successful execution and the integration roadmap
Evolve the existing software architecture leveraging forward thinking methodologies and opening innovative and programmatic ways for our customers to consume our products and services.
Communicate effectively across the organization to ensure that the team is completely aligned to the business objectives and can do the job effectively
Build strong inter-personal relationships with peers and other key stakeholders that can help smoothen execution

Qualifications:

B.S. / M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent
Proven track record leading successful software teams
15+ years of industry experience including 5+ years of leadership role
Experience with Agile methodologies
Experience with large scale distributed systems
Experience in Datacenter management or Cloud management space
Excellent understanding of Network Security technologies
Solid understanding of enterprise-level security products
Deep understanding of software engineering principles and process along with the ability to apply this knowledge to execute projects and optimize strategies
Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making, problem-solving, and attention to details
Ability to build things from scratch as well as improve existing code
Proven success in agile development environment
Strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with a broad mix of technologies such as Zookeeper, Docker, Kafka, OpenStack
Familiarity with storage and database technologies like Postgres, Time Series DB, etc.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (vSphere (ESX), Hyper-V, or KVM) and storage space
