Join our Ultrasonography Department as a Diagnostic Sonographer located at our Scripps Mercy Hospital – San Diego, located in the heart of Hillcrest. You will experience the pride, and support of being a member of an outstanding sonographer/diagnostics team where we share a culture of providing excellent care to our patients and each other.
The Diagnostic Sonographer is responsible for
- Providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
- Adheringto safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participating in QC and PI activities; maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
This is a Part Time (40 hours every two weeks) benefited position, working 8-Hour Day Shifts on varied days. Located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego.
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of formal training/educational program in a school that is accredited by CAAHEP (Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs)
- ARDMS or RDCS or CCI
- BLS from the American Heart Association
- Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One to two years of experience
- RDCS or RCS and RVT or RVS.
- Knowledge of patient focused care delivery.
