The Sourcing Manager establishes the approved vendor matrix, manages the vendor relationship and performance which includes quality, cost negotiation, product availability and continuity for product standards. This role has direct responsibilities for select vendor and category management of business, holding vendors accountable for our standards and requirements, which include: Mitigate supply chain riskCost and minimum order requirementsLead time managementNew product introductionsWe are seeking a highly motivated candidate with demonstrated leadership skills who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.  They will have strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.What We Offer:Health insurance – Medical, Dental, and VisionPTO days and paid holidays401K retirement plan with company matchGrow your career with us – many promotional opportunities are availableDuties and Responsibilities:Support all new product launch initiatives including but not limited to: project status, costing, vendor information, lead times, logistics and packaging/labeling needsBuild strong relationships with our vendor partners with a strong focus on managing vendor performance, negotiating contracts and agreements, and ensuring that our vendors deliver on their commitmentsMaintain and monitor project schedules to ensure on time deliveryTrack commodities and monitor material costing trendsManage any ad hoc cross-functional projectsResearch new vendors in support of product and capacity needs, reduced lead times, and dual sourcing opportunities. Create and achieve cost savings goals by analyzing data/quotes & comparisonsMaintain and update vendor documentation which include ordering requirements and price lists. Create/review/approve content for sourcing/product information announcements to the systemComplete vendor onboarding process, including how to effectively negotiate favorable service standards, vendor contracts and agreements.Manage complex agendas and follow up on outstanding items promptly and effectivelySource new products and suppliers as neededProvide additional administrative support as needed
