Position - SQL Server DBA

Oakland, CA

Onsite – 3 Days The SQL Server DBA will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems, to ensure the availability and consistent performance of our corporate applications. This is a hands-on position requiring solid technical skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and sustainment of the SQL Server Production environments, ensuring its operational readiness (security, health and performance), executing data loads, and performing data modeling in support of multiple development teams. Must be capable of working independently and collaboratively. As a (SQL Server Database Administrator), you will participate in:

Administering databases running on SQL Server Standalone, SQL Always On platforms on the latest versions including SQL 2012, 2014, 2019 etc. using DBMS tools and SQL Server Management Studio
Azure SQL Server
Involving in the database monitoring using Spotlight or other monitoring tool, review the alerts, identify the root cause and take remediation actions.
Install, upgrade, and manage database applications. Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
SSRS/SSIS/SSAS installation and administration and Power BI support and data analytics
