Sr. Accountant

The Senior Accountant is responsible for financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Apply oneself to various department-wide initiatives

Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests

Complete monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables that includes journal entries, reconciliations, and reports in the compensation area in compliance with GAAP

Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management Requirements - SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience

ERP system experience

Must have excellent time management skills

BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

General Accounting experience desired

Self-starter and strong ethical standards

Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

Familiarity with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued

3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

Ability to meet deadlines
