Description Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong senior accountant to support our retail client in LA on a 4–6-month hybrid engagement. The Sr. Accountant will play a key role in completing period close tasks and apply principles of accounting to analyze accounting data and prepare reconciliations and analyses. This individual will be able to work within tight deadlines and drive continuous improvement to deliverables and processes. It will also provide high level of exposure to end-to-end accounting processes, as well as reporting and analysis to both internal and external parties.Job Description

Oversee Inter / Intra company transactions, activities, and reconciliations.

Prioritize and manage timely completion of period close tasks, including preparation of trend analysis, preparation / review of journal entries and various reconciliation.

Maintain financial records in compliance with policies and procedures.

Support prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliation and drive timely resolution as needed.

Prepare compliance reporting and filing of fees, maintain and oversees license renewals.

Participate in ERP and front-end systems enhancement project as requested.

Drive efficiencies and implement lean practices.

Assist completing ad hoc requests.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Corporate Accounting

CPA and/or public accounting experience preferred

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a business-related field

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP

Ability to work independently and as part of the team

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel)

Experience using Oracle Fusion preferred
