One part of Prisma Access™ is our GlobalProtect team, which is responsible for securing the network traffic from Customer devices to Prisma Access™ Cloud. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver next-generation technologies within our GlobalProtect team. You will be responsible for Innovation, Development and Sustenance of secured access client on multiple platforms

You will work with product management to develop and define roadmaps

You will apply your knowledge to create system architectures and low-level designs

Utilize your programming skills for highly efficient and robust implementations

Interact with quality assurance and field support teams in debugging, troubleshooting, replicating, and resolving issues found in secured access client software

Develop a shared library and build high quality APIs and documentation for other engineers

Develop prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas

Interview, mentor and coach new team members

Your Experience

10+ years of professional software development experience including experience with native Android development

Proficient in at least one of Swift/Objective-C or Kotlin/Java programming language and familiarity with design patterns

Proficiency in systems programming on Android platforms, iOS is a bonus

Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing secure mobile applications (Authentication, Encryption, Session Management, Least Privilege, Threat Modeling, Concurrency)

Pragmatic adaptation to legacy and modern Android/iOS architectures

You are a team player with can-do attitude to tackle difficult problems and you have the hunger to learn and grow horizontally

You have high energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

You enjoy collaboration and communication with multiple teams

You are a fast learner and eager to absorb new emerging technologies

You have a M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent military experience

Knowledge of other programming languages like C, C or Go is a plus

Experience with networking domain is a plus

For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $170,000/yr to $275,000/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus.
