W2 and Local Candidates OnlyLocation: Onsite in Pleasanton, CALength: 6+ MonthsProof of COVID Vaccination and Background Check Requireds and s only Details – Client has multiple projects in multiple phases of the design. They are looking for a mixed signal (ADC & DACs) board designer with a background in Altium. Most of their designs are in the 100-200 MHz range and 10-12 layers. They have PCB Layout resources on staff to do the layout. Their ideal candidate would also have experience interacting with FPGAs as they are doing lots of signal processing. Board designer (EE). They should have these skills:• Altium - We have in-house techs to do most of the PCB layout work, but this person should be able to directly with them and deal with EE questions and complex layout problems. They should be able to create their own Altium schematics and feel comfortable navigating in Altium PCB.• Experience designing boards with FPGAs (preferably recent Xilinx devices). • Experience working with Mixed-Signal circuits such as ADC and DACs. Should be comfortable designing fast-ish devices (up to 400 MPSP). Should understand layout methods for low-noise and EMI suppression• Experience interfacing mixed signal devices to FPGAs • General analog design experience (amplifiers, filters, opamps, etc).• High-speed layout techniques
