The Supervision + Credit group is responsible for the supervision and regulation of state member banks (SMBs), bank holding companies, savings and loan holding companies, financial holding companies, data service providers, trust companies, and foreign banking organizations that operate in the Twelfth District. Supervised institutions are in all states of the district and range in size and complexity from small community organizations to some of the largest banking organizations in the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Data, queries and report development, including management of data virtualization layer (DVS), data connection of our CRM (Credit Risk Management) applications to Board and SCRM (Subcommittee on Credit Risk Management) data sources, and data sharing agreements (DSAs).
  • Application development of the upcoming Risk Profiler system and the Discount Window portal. Develop user requirements and lead discussions with business areas. Design /refine interfaces.
  • Lead and/or CoLead existing and new applications that are currently on premises but are either cloud native or migrating to the cloud.
  • Support SAFR and/or FISMA requirements in order to ensure CRM applications meet cyber and information security standards.
  • Support day to day operations, diagnose issues reported by users, work with ITS to determine solutions, bug fixes, or improvements. Track and fully resolve issue tickets as they occur.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, banking, computer information systems or related area preferred/desirable.
  • Typically requires 4 years of experience.
  • Strong inspiring leader that is innovative, creditable, and persuasive in handling projects and leading discussions.
  • Proven understanding and/or experience in application development, data, and queries. Knowledge and experience with on-prem systems and migrating to the cloud desirable.
  • Experience in banking as well as knowledge of supervision, regulation, and credit risk management.
  • Proficiency with project management and can expertly coordinate teams of subject matter experts (SMEs), leading discussions, and developing common solutions.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Visio, Access, databases, Jira, RSAM, and Tableau. Knowledge of FRB's SAFR, FISMA, and Board Trust Model a plus.
  • This position requires access to confidential supervisory information, which is limited to "Protected Individuals." Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens and U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents who are not yet eligible to apply for naturalization, and U.S. permanent residents who have applied for naturalization within six months of being eligible to do so or who will sign a declaration of intent to apply for naturalization before they begin employment.
