Job Title: Data Analytics & Engineering - Data Engineer III Tax Work Location: Menlo Park, CA Role DescriptionThese contingent workers will work closely with full-time research scientists and software engineers who are leading computer vision research projects to ensure that the process runs smoothly and that data annotation quality remains high to train state-of-the-art machine learning models. Duties include:Data wrangling: writing data pipelines to upload annotations automatically; running existing ML models on large volumes of data; ad-hoc data analysis / visualization Annotation task and vendor management: creating data annotation guidelines; curating ideal “gold standard” examples for annotators; managing back-and-forth communications with annotators; reviewing annotation quality to identify themes and relaying appropriate feedback to annotation vendors. Skills required:SQL, Python, Linux command line (Bash)Very high attention to detail for managing large, complex annotation efforts Good written communication skills to coordinate with annotators and team members Proactive and preventative solutions mindset2+ years work experience, including experience working with customer2+ teams
