Responsibilities:

Design and build data transformations efficiently and reliably for different purposes (e.g. reporting, growth analysis, multi-dimensional analysis)
Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust and extensible big data systems that support core products and business
Establish solid design and best engineering practice for engineers as well as non-technical members

Basic Qualifications:

BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of experience with the Big Data technologies (Hadoop, M/R, Hive, Spark, Metastore, Presto, Flume, Kafka, ClickHouse, Flink etc.,)
3+ years of experience in performing data analysis, data ingestion and data integration
3+ years of experience in ETL (Extraction, Transformation & Loading) and architecting data systems
2+ years of experience with schema design, data modeling and SQL queries
Passionate and self-motivated about technologies in the Big Data area
Experience in debugging and automating routine tasks
Strong skills in problem solving and communication
Excellent team player

Preferred qualifications:

Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and identify opportunities for improvement
Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
