Location: Remote and then to Austin-TX, SFO California Experience: 7 to 10 Years Dev-Sec-Ops Engineer THE ROLE: Our team writes large scale infrastructure and tools for Windows and Linux. Our software is utilized during all stages of product development across multiple sites and includes distributed automation and build processes, web applications and databases to track millions of records generated by thousands of systems. We are constantly adapting our software development processes (e.g., continuous integration, unit testing and TDD, code reviews) to manage the challenges we accept. We are looking for a Software Engineer who is passionate about deliver secure software. THE PERSON: The Engineer will be responsible for integration of security analysis into the development workflow including design and deployment of the automated CI solutions. The ability to work on multiple platforms and to design reusable and scalable modules is critical. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integrate static code analysis tools with code review, build and test steps. Create fully integrated and feature-rich solutions to build secure software efficiently
  • Design and implement software security metrics and reports
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Prior work experience in C on Linux development is a must
  • In-depth knowledge of GNU Make, CMake
  • In-depth knowledge of Git. Experience with Gerrit is a plus
  • Proficient knowledge of CI systems and containerization tools: Jenkins, Docker
  • Experience with security and static code analysis tools is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
  • Computer Science/Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of related work experience in software development
