Sr. Dir, Network Engineering

The Senior Director of Network Engineering will manage the teams responsible for the engineering and operation of DIRECTV's Engineering network. This strategic leader will oversee architecture, system engineering, and operating elements of the network, including switching, routing, load balancing, proxies, firewalls, and CDNs. This role is critical to the DIRECTV Technical Organization's ability to achieve goals and objectives.

• Oversee the seamless and successful delivery of operation and engineering initiatives to production
• Weigh technical decisions against financials to determine tradeoffs and make the most efficient decisions
• Develop and drive opportunities to reduce cost while maintaining a high level of service to protect the customer experience

• 5-7+ years of applicable network engineering and leadership experience.
• Demonstrated history of high achievement thru education, leadership position(s) and other significant achievements.
• Excellent organization and planning skills with ability to multi-task.
